Mentorship
A 4–5 year journey for ages 5–13, pairing young people with mentors for field adventures, arts, culinary arts, and land stewardship, growing capable, caring stewards over time.
Ages 5–8
JR Mentorship
Meets monthly
Younger mentees build foundational skills and a love of the outdoors through guided adventures.
Ages 9–13+
Leadership Mentorship
Frequency varies
Older mentees take on real leadership, planning, guiding, and serving alongside their mentors.

How to join
Mentorship is a deeper commitment, so students must complete one full year in AWI group classes before becoming eligible. New to AWI? Start with a class, then talk to us about mentorship.
