About this class
Redwood Raven School teaches CORE standards through stewardship. Rather than learning about nature from a desk, students learn math, science, language, and social studies by working with the living world around them.
What a typical day looks like: a morning gathering and land acknowledgment, a hands-on academic block tied to a real stewardship project (planting, observing, restoring), lunch and free play, and an afternoon of art or field science.
