Mugworts is AWI's middle-school program, where students dive into civics, conservation biology, plant medicine, environmental ethics, and endurance-building — all in the field.
What a typical day looks like: a discussion-based seminar on a real environmental issue, a field investigation or service project, a longer hike that builds physical endurance and resilience, and reflective journaling.
